Now open: registration for free school skating

It's once again possible to register your class or school for (free) school skating! Especially for schools, skating on the Fun Lane is already possible from early November. From Saturday, November 22nd 2025, the 400-metre track will also be open. From then on, school skating can take place on both ice rinks.

Dé tip voor basisscholen: boek in november!

Boek in de periode 26 oktober t/m 17 november en geniet in alle rust van het ijs zónder andere schaatsers! Dit is de perfecte periode voor een klassenuitje met lagere klassen of de jongste leerlingen. Geen middelbare scholieren, geen ervaren schaatsers - het hele ijs exclusief voor de jongste schaatsers in spe!

Reservations

Reservations can be made at the times listed below. These times apply only outside school holidays due to safety and capacity. A maximum of 250 pupils can skate per block.

When making the reservation, you can indicate how many skates you wish to hire, how many supervisors will be joining (1 supervisor per 10 pupils can join free of charge, additional supervisors can buy an admission ticket at the entrance), and whether you would like to hire helmets for the pupils. You can always adjust this information later, via your account!

MBO, HBO and WO

Students from MBO/HBO/WO who want to go skating with their class or year group can purchase tickets via https://tickets.schaatsbaanrotterdam.nl and make use of the group discount, Rotterdampas or Erasmus Sports Pass.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:

Timeslot 1 – 09:00 - 10:30     
Timeslot 2 – 10:50 - 12:20    
Timeslot 3 – 12:40 - 14:10    
Timeslot 4 – 14:30 - 16:00 

Wednesday:      

Timeslot 1 – 09:00 - 10:30  
Timeslot 2 – 10:50 - 12:20
