A surprising and new loyalty event for the most loyal of costumers in which Albert Heijn organised an entire day of ice skating.

In February of 2018, Albert Heijn organised an ice skating event for 2000 people who own a bonuskaart. They organised this as a part of their 'Stamppotje Schaatsen' winter campaign and Schaatsbaan Rotterdam was hired the entire morning and afternoon for this event. People owning Bonuskaarten from all around the country were invited to come along for a visit and the day was sold out within a short amount of time.

The concept

A surprising and new loyalty event for the most loyal of costumers in which Albert Heijn organised an entire day of ice skating. Throughout the day several side-events were organised, such as a clinic from Annamarie Thomas, the watching of Olympic skating competitions and a winners-photobooth. Visitors could also enjoy several different 'stamppotten', made by AH's master chef Arjen Zeevenhooven.

Performance

Schaatsbaan Rotterdam was turned into the AH-house style for an entire day. Everywhere you looked, things were covered in the blue and white Look & Feel of the supermarket. 
On the Winterplein a big open kitchen was made where guests could get their 'Stamppotjes.' Next to the kitchen was a stage on which a DJ played music and made announcements the entire day and on our LED-screen (4x3 metres), live Olympic Games skating competitions were displayed.
